Hyatt Hotels Corporation has honored Songy HighRoads, one of the global hospitality company’s top owners and developers, with the Strategic Partner Award. “Hyatt has consistently emphasized that we want to be the most preferred hotel company for owners, guests and associates. Songy HighRoads is an Atlanta-based real estate development firm currently developing hotels in gateway U.S. cities including the Hyatt Regency Houston Galleria, Hyatt Place Houston Galleria and Hyatt Place Washington, D.C./Downtown/K Street.

The Hyatt Regency Houston and the Hyatt Place Houston are conveniently located in the Galleria submarket of Houston, Texas on the existing site of Songy HighRoad’s Galleria Place. Construction began on the Hyatt Regency, a full-service hotel, in December 2013 and delivery isexpected in late 2015. The Hyatt Place Houston has been under development since August 2014 and is expected to open in late 2015. Songy HighRoads is converting a vacant Class B office building into a Hyatt Place Hotel located just two blocks from the White House in Washington, D.C. The hotel will feature a private rooftop meeting space and bar, fitness center and conference space and is within walking distance of the Red, Blue, and Orange Metro lines. Construction began December 2013 and the hotel is expected to open in the second quarter of 2015. The Strategic Partner Award was announced at Hyatt’s conference for owners throughout the Americas held at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa in Indian Wells, Calif.
