Songy Highroads Hires Foster Durkee to Expand Its Growing Acquisitions Business

Songy Highroads (SHR) announced today that it has hired Foster Durkee as a Senior Vice President to help expand the company’s growing acquisitions business. In this new role, Durkee will be responsible for new acquisitions in the office, hotel, and multifamily sectors with a focus on opportunistic, value-add strategies. He will also assist with capital sourcing and new partnerships, identifying potential mixed-use developments, and the execution of existing deals.

Foster Durkee joins SHR with more than nine years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Durkee relocated from New York City where he most recently served as a Vice President at Related Fund Management, the real estate private equity investment arm of Related Companies, one of the largest privately-owned real estate firms in the United States. During his six years at Related Fund Management, Durkee was involved in the acquisition and development of over $2.5 billion of real estate across all asset classes. Prior to Related, Durkee worked in CBRE’s National Loan Sale Advisory Group in New York, among other roles. Durkee received his B.A. in Economics and History from the University of Virginia.
